Benesch is pleased to announce that Karly B. Johnson and Grant Gieseke have joined the firm.
Karly is an associate in Benesch’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. She works with employers on a wide array of labor and employment matters. Karly advises clients to ensure statutory compliance and limit potential legal liability. When charges are brought, she represents clients in the alternative dispute resolution, administrative agency, or litigation process. Additionally, Karly represents employers sponsoring employees for immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
Karly received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law in 2015 and her B.S. in Radiologic Image Sciences, cum laude, from Kent State University in 2011.
Grant is a staff attorney in Benesch’s Litigation Practice Group and focuses his practice on contract, business, commercial, and consumer disputes. Prior to joining Benesch, he worked at Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. drafting and editing corporate agreements, reviewing contractual obligations between corporate clients, and other documents regarding business operations. He also served as a judicial intern to Honorable Norma Lindsey of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
Grant received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Miami School of Business in 2016. He received his B.S. in International Affairs & Political Science and Minor in Business from Florida State University in 2012. Admitted to practice in Florida. Not yet admitted to practice in Ohio.
