As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to announce that Reed Sirak has joined the firm as an associate.

He is well versed in e-discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, litigation, mediation and arbitration, as well as counseling clients in the areas of Hazardous Materials Transportation and OSHA compliance and enforcement matters.

“We continue to grow the firm strategically by recruiting highly skilled attorneys across multiple practice areas,” said Jeff Wild, Firm Administrative Partner, Chief Strategy Officer and Chair of the Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group. “Reed shares the firm’s values of responsive client service, and practical and creative problem solving. We welcome him to the Benesch team.”

Prior to joining Benesch, Reed served as Director of an electrical engineering company based in New Zealand with over 100 employees and EBITDA of over $30 million (NZD) and was also an environmental associate at an AM Law Top 40 law firm. Reed received his J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2012, his Master of Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) from Vermont Law School in 2009 and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2007.

In all, over 70 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months, which has also seen the opening of a San Francisco office and the expansion of practices including class action litigation, intellectual property litigation and labor and employment. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, the firm has advanced 15 places and is currently ranked at number 180.
