As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to announce that Gregory S. Borak has joined the firm.
Greg joins the firm as Of Counsel and is an experienced real estate and corporate attorney with both firm and in-house experience. Greg has worked directly for a national public REIT, as well as a private equity firm and a family office both of whom were focused in real estate development. As a result, Greg is a skilled advisor in the daily management of nationally owned real estate portfolios in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
“We have been working hard to recruit top legal talent to the firm across the country,” said Jeff Wild, Firm Administrative Partner, Chief Strategy Officer, and Chair of the Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group. “The addition of Greg certainly shows that the effort is paying off. His broad experience as in-house counsel to various real estate development firms brings a unique insight that our clients will find very advantageous.”
Greg's real estate experience includes leasing, acquisition, disposition, financing, commercial development, property management, corporate compliance, office management, and litigation management. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Greg received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2005 and his B.A. from The John Hopkins University in 2000.
